Payment is due at the time of service before your session begins. We accept cash, check, and all major credit cards. Free Spirit BodyWorks currently does not accept or bill insurance however, we are happy to provide an official receipt which you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
- A note on gratuity/tips: We do not accept credit card tips. Gratuity is graciously appreciated however it is not expected or required. Thank you!
We understand that un-anticipated events can happen in everyone’s life. Children, Business meetings, project deadlines, flight delays, car problems, bad weather, and illness are just a few reasons why one might consider canceling an appointment.
Free Spirit BodyWorks has a 24-hour cancellation policy. This policy is set in place to effectively manage time and provide availability for all those in need of treatment. We constantly strive to provide professional and quality services and time is valuable. Thank you for understanding.
- 24 hour advance notice is required when cancelling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment.
- Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show” and will be charged the full hourly rate of the missed appointment. Any future services will not be scheduled until payment is received.
Appointment times have been scheduled specifically for you. We ask that you arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled start time. Unless asked to do so, please do not arrive more than 10 minutes early to allow time for our therapists to prepare for your appointment.
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointment follows yours. Depending upon how late you arrive will determine if there is enough time remaining to start the treatment session. Regardless of the length of the treatment received, you are responsible for payment of the full session rate. With respect and consideration to your therapist and other clients, please plan accordingly and arrive on time.
Massage/bodywork sessions are not appropriate care for infectious or contagious illness. Please cancel your appointment as soon as you are aware of any symptoms associated with illness! If it is within the 24-hour notice period, the cancellation fee will be waived.
Gift Certificates are sold as a dollar value and may be applied to any service. They are valid up to 6 months from the date of purchase or they date they are sent to the recipient in the case of electronic gift certificates. Appointments must be scheduled and completed by the expiration date. Gift Certificates may be redeemed for ½ the original value up to 30 days after the expiration date.
3-packs are occasionally offered for a limited time and are available to those who schedule on a recurring basis. They may be shared with friends and family and are valid up to 90 days from the date of purchase. After 90 days, ½ of any value remaining may be applied to future sessions for up to 15 days after expiration.
PLEASE NOTE: Any appointments missed without notice or cancelled without rescheduling within 24 hours of the original scheduled appointment time are subject to our cancellation policy described above.
Free Spirit BodyWorks is a professional establishment. Inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated! Unacceptable behavior includes but is not limited to: Offensive language or actions, any illicit, sexual or suggestive remarks or advances, etc. Misconduct will result in immediate termination of the session. The client is responsible for payment in full at regular hourly rates of the scheduled appointment and will not be invited to reschedule any future appointments.
